Parnassos is a mountain of limestone in central Greece that towers above Delphi and Arachova town, north of the Gulf of Corinth, and offers scenic views of the surrounding olive groves and countryside. According to Greek mythology, this mountain was sacred to Apollo and the Corycian nymphs, and the home of the Muses. The mountain was also favored by the Dorians. Alongside your skiing activities and the bustling nightlife of Arachova town, welcome the opportunity to discover the reason why this destination is so attractive.

In the picturesque Arachova town, various elegant and first-class hotels or traditional guest houses offer you luxurious accommodation. Arachova and the neighboor village of Leivadi, offer to all visitors and skiers, fine-dining restaurants and small, romantic taverns that serve tasty dishes cooked with the area’s famous products, such as "hilopites" (small square-shaped pieces of pasta made of durum wheat), or "formaela", the traditional cheese of Arachova. Arachova town is also well known for its unique, hand-made colored woven carpets (flokati) and top quality textiles as well.

Delphi is a historical town since ancient years of Greece that sits on the south-western slope of mountain Parnassos. Delphi town was once the most important religious site in ancient Greece, and is now one of the most important archeological sites in the country. Delphi's location in the mountains is also breathtaking scenery, making Delphi a very special place to visit, combining ski holidays as well. According to Mythology Zeus released two eagles from both sides of the world and where they crossed would be the "navel of the earth" and Delphi was the place where these birds crossed. Delphi is now a major archaeological site with well-preserved ruins. It was designated a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1987.
